How To Mark Your First Assessment
Accessing the Marker
You can open the Assignment Marker in three ways:
- From Quick Actions → Mark Assessments → Filter by exam name and student name.
- From the Student dropdown → Select a student → View their exams → Click Mark.
- From Student Assessments → Find the exam → Click View → See the class list → Click Mark next to a student.
Setting Up the Marker
- Upload your rubric (CSV or PDF).
- Under Select Grade, choose the rubric you uploaded (saved rubrics stay available).

Enter:
- Course Name
- Assignment Instructions or a short description of the task.

(Optional) Adjust Advanced Settings:
- Age group
- Tone of feedback
- Custom AI instructions
- Click Save Instructions.
Uploading Assignments
- Upload files in PDF, Word, raw text, or image format.
- Click Start Assessment.
Reviewing Feedback
- Wait about 7 seconds for AI feedback.
- Review feedback in the Feedback Preview window.
- Edit text directly, or click AI Rewrite to adjust tone, age group, or add notes.

Review the grade:
- To change → Click Edit Grade.
- To accept → Click Save Grade.
Final Step
- Once saved, the exam status updates to Marked.
- The grade and score are automatically stored in the system — no double data entry needed.
How to Upload and View Students
Bulk Upload
- Click Upload Students.
- Choose Bulk Upload.
- Select the class and section (default is Section A).

Drag and drop a CSV file from Excel with:
- One column labeled “Student Name.”
- All student names listed below it.
- Upload the file.
- Confirm you have the correct consent to upload student data.
- Click Upload Students.
Individual Entry
- After uploading, you can also use Individual Entry.
- Enter the student’s name.
- Select the class and section.
- Confirm data permission.
- Click Add Student to add them to the class list.
Viewing Students
- Click the Students tab.
- Filter via All Classes to view the students uploaded to a class.
How To Create Classes and Subjects
- Go to the Quick Actions menu and click Add Class.
- Enter the name of your class and click Create Class.
- Next, click Add Subject.
- Enter the name of your subject.

From the drop-down, select the class you want to assign the subject to.
- If your class is not listed, click Add Class in the same window to create it on the spot.
✅ You’ve now successfully created a class and assigned subjects.
How To Create and View Exams
Creating an Exam
- Click Create Exam.
- Select an exam category from the drop-down, or click Create New Category.
- Choose your class, or click Create New Class if needed.
- Select a subject or unit for that class, or create a new subject.
- Enter your exam name.

On the next page, set exam details:
- Start date and end date
- Classroom (default will appear as “Room”)
- Start time and end time
- Click Create Exam.
Viewing Exams
- In the Student Panel, teachers can view exams assigned to specific students in their classes.
- In Student Assessments, you can view all exams you’ve created. Filter by class, subject, unit, or exam status.
